Lakefield Cottage

This cosy but luxurious cottage adjoins the main house and it shares the same breathtaking view over Esthwaite Water and the surrounding mountains. It is self-contained and is peacefully located.

The cottage has a separate entrance (off a shared private driveway) and comprises a ground floor lounge/diner looking towards the lake and mountains.

The living area has comfortable seating, a 26" flatscreen (with FreeSat and a DVD/video player) and a selection of books and games. There are great lake and fell views through the picture windows. The stylish kitchen is custom-built in light oak with granite work surfaces and has a ceramic hob, Bosch split grill/oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/ freezer and washer/dryer.

The bedroom has a king-size bed and a single bed, both with duvets and all linen (except towels) is provided. The bedroom is tastefully furnished with sumptuous fabrics and also has excellent lake and mountain views (see "Gallery"). The stylish bathroom is luxuriously equipped and has a shower over the bath.

Outside, at the rear, is a private enclosed garden with a Lakeland slate terrace and garden furniture, perfect for meals "al fresco". The cottage garden is at the rear of the property and does not have a view of the lake. There is a parking space for one car. O2 mobile broadband reception (slowish speed) - bring your O2 dongle (e.g. pay-as-you-go). Tesco Direct will deliver food/groceries, if required. The cottage is suitable for 2/3 persons and one well behaved pet is accepted.
